The Cost of Commoning on Dartmoor

The Cost of Commoning on Dartmoor, by Mark Fogherty, Duchy College Rural Business School and Tracy May.

Data was collected over two years, 2023 & 2022 from fifteen farms who graze livestock on Dartmoor Common Land.

The aim of the research is to highlight the true cost of grazing livestock on the common and inform future Agri-environment intervention rates.

A final report will be produced in June 2024, which will include three years data, 2021-2023
